If you turn off photo stream under settings it deletes all under photo stream. So far I'm not happy with this feature

Photo stream has not gotten decent reviews

Not for it's ability. But for the fact that it seems that a pix you put on PS goes to all your devices,?

CNET has as time on some shows and has panned PS

Thx

Per device. When I set up my wife's i4, my i4 and daughters iPad 2, I
used the same iCloud account. Within a couple hours I got an email
saying I need to buy more iCloud space. Also noticed that all three
were sharing reminders, cal and contacts, so I went into settings ->
iCloud and deleted the iCloud account on DW and DD devices and created
a new @me account for for each of them. Then on my i4 I went into
manage storage and deleted the backups for them under my account. Now
I've got 1.7GB left.

We're all still under the same apple store ID so we can share music
and apps though.

Finally getting notifications going well. The only ones still not working is the Facebook ones. Not sure if that's on Facebooks side or on Apple's side.

It has to be a bug of some sort because all other notifications are working great.

I have maybe 20 in iTunes but only 4 in the phone - the 4 on the phone are from the same source as the ones that won't sync...

Bill,
Yes, they are in iTunes. Are you saying I should connect my phone to my Mac and sync ringtones? I have been managing iTunes manually up to this point.

Thanks,
Kathleen

Guess I'm not getting mine either.....still says backorder through AT&T and mine was white 32GB! Confirmation says 14-21 days and I pre-ordered last Friday at 10:00am! So much for pre-ordering! Sucks to know that people who chose to camp out in a line at a store will probably have theirs today before I get mine even though I ordered ahead.....ggrrrrr. >___<

I'll second that!

Lost all contacts from iPhone after update of iOS5

Issue resolved. Exported my contacts from Address Book on my iMac and emailed the vCards to myself and retrieved the email on my iPhone. Opened the email and selected the vCard attachment and was given the option to save the contacts to my iPhone and...all's well.

It looks like Apple may have made enough iPhones this time

We are getting a lot of reports that those big lines are clearing and
Apple Stores actually have some stock of iPhone 4S left over (the shot
above is from Naples, Florida).

From our knowledge of the situation, we̢۪ve heard that Apple has thought
ahead this time and ramped up production well ahead of the release. In
fact, Apple could have released the iPhone 4S hardware much earlier if
the iOS 5 software had been ready.

But that̢۪s good news for those who are trying to get in early on the
iPhone 4S but didn̢۪t want to camp out or pre-order. What̢۪s the word on
the street out there?

Can't get iOS 5 to download

Posted by: "Danni" shrinkingdanni@gmail.com   dannitaz

I am currently using a 3gS (may be getting a 4s today if AT&T has one after I get done with work). Last night I tried to update the iOS and was able to get the new version of iTunes 64 bit edition to load, but iTunes would not let me sign in to the iTunes store or download the upgrade. It kept saying that the server was timing out and to check my Internet connection. Anyone else having this problem? Also, how is the new iOS working on the 3gS?

Thanks,

Danni

I have an Iphone 3gs.   I would love to trade up to the new phone, and AT&T is my carrier.   I've never done this before, but would love to upgrade.   Can anyone tell me if this is possible.
