I had a white iPad and ended up trading it for a black one. I think
the quality of the construction and color of the white was superb, but
I like having a higher contrast to video and books during viewing.
Personally, I found the white border distracting. But that's just how
it came across to me. :)

Or perhaps wait for a few months and get ipad3. You might get 128GB model and a better Siri to dictate your reviews rather than look for a keyboard.

iCloud/iTunes sync question

My iPad 2 and iPhone 3 GS have both been updated to iOS 5. My MacMini is running Snow Leopard. Since I upgraded to iOS 5 I find some Calendar items mysteriously duplicate themselves. Could this be because I am syncing the iPad and iPhone to each other via iCloud? When I sync to my MacMini should I shut off Contacts syncing so I don't wind up with duplicates?
Or maybe I should forget syncing via iCloud until I upgrade the Mac to Lion?
If anyone out there has a similar setup and can offer tips or suggestions I'd be very grateful. I don't want to wind up messing things up through my ignorance.

Cathy, I too had some issues of duplicate entries, and all that I
did to fix it was to turn off one of my calendars... but I can't
remember which one I turned off... so you would need to try them
one at a time!

You could, if there's an option in iTunes, sync your contacts and calendar on your MacMini to iCloud too. You shouldn't get duplicates that way. I haven't seen any.

It is odd, as my iPad 2 and the three other iPhones (1 x 3GS, 2 x 4)
all changed correctly, along with the MacBook Pro and four Windows
computers.

OK, I give up. How does one "restore the 3Gs backup"? I find no menu item, button to click, or anything else to do this.
Thanks
