Developed specifically to prevent slow-downs and stalls when viewing large PDF files on an iOS device, it has the fastest rendering engine available giving sub-second rendering where other PDF viewers take as long as 8.4 seconds to render the same complex page.

Operation of PDF is simple on all iOS devices, irrespective of screen size or built-in memory. The user may open standard, single-page PDF documents automatically. Multi-page and oversize documents require a one time pre-rendering, wait for the screen to turn green, and then touch the Viewer button. Pre-rendering times vary according to the size of the document and the iOS device, but the process need be done only once. Having been pre-rendered, the document is permanently stored in its pre-rendered form. Even with oversize documents up to or exceeding 48 x 42 inches, there is continuous, smooth scrolling with no tiling effects, no lags, no stutter. Opening thousand page textbox happens instantly, no opening lag times.

A companion product LargeViewer Helper for IOS PreRendering is an OS-X app that allows you to pre-render many PDF documents such as from archive.org that because of proprietary graphics compression are normally unreadable on an iOS device, yet are readable on OS-X. Once pre-rendered on OS-X those documents can be transfer to your ISO device for further reading and enjoyment via our PDF product.

A classic fairy tale that is enjoyed by children worldwide, the story has been adapted into other media, such as opera, film, and theater.

With more than 50 versions of the fairy tale available on the App Store, it is reasonable to ask what makes The Ugly Duckling Storybook HD stand out from among the others. Briefly, this trans-national production (the text and voiceover are selectable for English or Mandarin Chinese), achieves a narrative whole that is much more than the sum of its parts. The illustrations and voiceover (plus music and sound effects) complement each other so well that the story comes powerfully alive.

The book's artwork is an example of digital cartooning at its best. Only animals and people are thinly outlined in black; all objects, vegetation, and backgrounds have no outline. This technique has the effect of making the characters "pop," and lends them a strength and dynamism. Great attention has been paid to fills, which are solid colors or gradients. Color fills express ideal textures only found in fiction; the layers of fills and side-by-side contrasting of fills found here create expressive detail without detailing. Very realistic in style, the illustrations successfully use coloring and blending as an inspiration to the reader's own imagination.

The professional reading is similarly effective in engaging the reader's heart and mind. Performing the narration as well as all the character voices, the female voiceover talent tells the story with verve and believability and never crosses over into the patronizing singsong found in other children's books. Readers can turn off the narration to read the story themselves or to have it read to them. Children can touch individual words and the built-in text-to speech function will pronounce that word. Animated page peel transitions can be automatic or swipe activated, and there is a cover flow display of all the pages for random access.

As faxes are increasingly emailed to save on paper costs, Fax Reader works by supplementing the existing document display logic found in iOS, which will only display the first page of a fax but not allow access to subsequent pages even with the latest version of IOS 5. The app includes newly enhanced variable page height support, and functions as a document handler by providing "Open in...", clipboard, and Photo library support functionality.

Fax Reader enables viewing of multi-page faxes by first importing the entire file into its storage area. Once imported, the file undergoes one-time pre-rendering that ensures the fax is optionally re-scaled to be optically correct and to provide the fastest possible rendering when viewing as a multi-page document. The user can copy documents into Fax Reader by using iTunes to copy files into, delete, or copy them out of the app. Users can also ask Fax Reader to open documents from other apps, like Apple's Mail.

Since the core gameplay is inspired by a popular card game, Kings'n Queens allows you to compete with up to four players on one device. As you progress through the levels, the difficulty of each opponent will increase. You can choose between a single player and a multiplayer mode.

Maaseik, Belgium - Bert Lempens, a young belgian game designer, today is pleased to announce the release of Kings'n Queens for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The game is a simple turn-based card game. Since the core gameplay is inspired by a popular card game, played mostly in bars together with friends, it allows you to compete with up to four players on one device. You can choose between a single player and a multiplayer mode. Kings'n Queens was developed using the popular Corona SDK by Ansca Mobile.

The game starts with a simple tutorial, showing you the few rules you need to know. After this, you're thrown into the game, providing the option to choose between single player and multiplayer games. In single player mode, you compete against computer opponents. As you progress through the levels, the difficulty of each opponent will increase. You will have to hone your skills and reflexes to be able to win the final games.

Each level also allows you to compete on global leaderboards. After the game is complete, your scores will be added to each other and submitted to one leaderboard, showing the player with the best time for beating the game! In multiplayer mode, you can compete against human or cpu opponents. Setting up a game is easy. Just drag at least two human or cpu caps the seats available to you.

Bert Lempens is a young belgian game designer. He recently graduated as one of the first students with a masters degree in Game & Digital Design at the PHL, Hasselt (Belgium). Immediately out of college, he started working on his first game project. As an experienced 3D game artist, he didn't know much about coding and all the other aspects of game development. But a couple months later, he's already releasing a finalized version of a simple iOS game.
